The debate entitled „Let’s end violence against women together! Measures and cooperation in the prevention and intervention of violence against women“

is organized by the Coordinating-Methodical Centre for the Prevention of Violence against Women

in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy in Slovakia and the Austrian Cultural Forum.

Speakers and experts in the area of gender based violence:

• lawyer Barbora Burajová, senior manager of the Coordinating-Methodical Centre for the Prevention of Violence against Women (KMC)
• clinical psychologist and psychotherapist Romeo Bissuti, Männerberartung Wien, Austria
• therapist and counselor in the field of violence against women in couple relationships Daša Malíková, Director of the ALEJ counseling center

At the event, you will learn more about the work of specialized service providers for women and about working with perpetrators of violence against women.

How do the analyzes and data collected by KMC contribute to improving the situation of women experiencing violence in Slovakia?

Since when is Austria providing counseling services for men as well, and what is the situation in Slovakia?

Why is it critical to cooperate  and search for  effective measures to improve the situation of women experiencing domestic violence and violence in the intimate relationships?
